
A Director of Investments with Intel Capital, Mike joined Intel in July 1999 with extensive experience in financial services and investment banking as well as in-depth knowledge of the telecom, networking and software industries.
At Intel Capital, Mike is responsible for making stage agnostic capital investments in companies focused on consumer semiconductor, software and services. In addition to capital investments, Mike works closely with Intel business units on strategies and has contributed to three completed acquisitions. Mike is involved with several of Intel's portfolio companies including Fabrik, Spatial Photonics, Avnera, FlowPlay, Broadlogic, Montage, Pando and ForteMedia. Previously, Mike has worked with Mediabolic (acquired by Macrovision) and Oplus (acquired by Intel) among others.
Prior to joining Intel, Mr. Buckley was a Vice President and Partner at Orca Capital Corporation, a Pacific Northwest-based technology focused investment banking firm. Mike was also an Associate at Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly LaSalle Partners) where he managed over $1 billion in assets as a real estate investment banker and asset manager.
Mr. Buckley received a BA in Quantitative Economics from Stanford University where he was a Pac-10 athlete.
